Forma is a bakery and coffee shop located in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland. Serving sourdough breads, conchas, and a variety of croissants, Forma uses French baking techniques and Mexican-inspired flavors to create a rotating menu of hand crafted baked goods. The menu also features many plant based options.

Creator and baker Jackson Schnetz started Forma Bakery with his father, long time bay area restaurateur Tom Schnetz who currently owns  Xolo Taqueria and La Esquinita. Jackson previously worked as a baker at Fournée Bakery in Berkeley, where he was part of the viennoiserie and bread teams. At Forma, Jackson uses seasonal produce and high-quality ingredients to create baked goods inspired by flavors he experienced growing up visiting his father's taquerias. Jackson has returned to Temescal, the original location of Tom's first restaurant collaboration, Doña Tomás.

"Forma" is the Spanish word for "shape," referring the way bread is formed, or shaped.
